About

Lafayette, Louisiana singer-songwriter Joshua LeBlanc channels over two decades of musical passion into his compelling acoustic rock sound. With 23 years of guitar playing and performing under his belt, Joshua has evolved from a jazz-trained musician into a distinctive voice in the independent music scene.

Joshua's musical journey began at 14 with a guitar in hand, leading him through high school and college bands before earning his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies. After his last band dissolved in 2009, he embraced the solo acoustic format, discovering a powerful way to connect directly with audiences through stripped-down, honest performances.

His 2023 album "Reflections" showcases Joshua's songwriting abilities, blending the storytelling tradition of artists like Bruce Springsteen and Frank Turner with the raw energy of Social Distortion and Hot Water Music. The influence of diverse acts from Counting Crows to Queens Of The Stone Age can be heard throughout his work, creating a sound that's both familiar and uniquely his own.

With approximately 500 live performances since 2012, Joshua has built his reputation one show at a time across Louisiana and beyond. His experience as a touring musician with The Complication, opening for national acts like Bobaflex and Tantric, added valuable perspective to his artistic development.

Currently working on his follow-up album, Joshua continues to write and perform, staying true to his independent roots while constantly evolving as an artist. His music speaks to the universal experiences of reflection, growth, and the power of authentic expression.
